The story behind DeadPoetz

Yes, that is the address of this blog. It is also my username in most of my Internet accounts, aside from Multiply.

But why DeadPoetz?

It came a from the name of my crush, it came from "Dead Poet's Society", it came from my fancying myself a poet.

Poet is from the name of my crush. It's his nickname scrambled. It's pretty easy to guess who he is now, huh? I used to just call myself Poet. I sort of started writing poems a little while after. Though of course, that isn't really the reason why I started writing. And after a while, I don't know, I don't like him anymore, since there were times when we don't talk to each other anymore. So I added Dead to Poet and added a Z, since that was sort of the thing then, adding z, lol. So it became DeadPoetz.

Then there's "Dead Poet's Society", I never really watched the movie before, but the title was quite intriguing. In a "book" I "published" for my friend, Regine, I wrote "Published by Dead Poet's Society", because it was cute. And there it is.

It's funny, there is actually a rap duo named DeadPoetz. One of the reasons I don't have a MySpace, but if you happen to check DeadPoetz in MySpace, there is someone with that account, which is the members of DeadPoetz, the rap band. I think it was last year, I got an email, from DeadPoetz, the rap band, actually, it was quite interesting. He asked why I happen to use the same name as his band for my site, and I told him that I never heard of his band, actually, I came up with DeadPoetz for another reason. We were pretty cool about sharing the same name. And he even complimented on my works. I didn't really tell them the reason behind my DeadPoetz though, because it was well, kind of childish.

Oh, about my crush. I still have a crush on him. Pathetic, huh? And I still no longer talk to him.
